Youth News

Fellowship is important at First Congregational UCC. We have a board dedicated to scheduling social events throughout the year, such as:

Women's Fellowship:

CRAFTERS, QUILTERS and BAKERS:

Planning for the Craft and Collectibles Sale scheduled for Oct 25-26 will begin soon. To rent a space for selling your quilts, floral arrangements, knit hats or scarves, etc. or to donate items, (jewelry, china, regifting items) Please contact

Sept 8 First Women's Fellowship meeting for the fall

will be an evening meeting beginning at 6pm. Please bring a casserole or salad to share and join us for a short meeting followed by a program to be presented by Lisa Anderson.

Oct 1 Women's Cluster Meeting

for all UCC women in Southern Idaho. The meeting will begin at 10am with worship and a program presented by Central Pacific Conference members who participated in a mission project in Biloxi, Mississippi. Luncheon will be

served at noon.

Oct 25 - 26 Craft and Collectible Sale

will be held on Sat, Oct 25 from 9am until 4pm and following church on Sunday, Oct 26. Begin your holiday shopping early from a wonderful selection of hand crafted items, baked goods and collectibles

 

SOLO’s Singles Group

SOLO’S END OF SUMMER POTLUCK AND BOOK SHARING!

When: Saturday, September 20th, 2008 at 4:00pm.

Where: Iona Wines – In her beautiful yard at 6120 Butte St., Boise. Ph 375-0427

What’s happening: We are sharing some of our favorite books from the summer. Each person will have about 3-5 minutes to share their book, depending on the number of

participants. And of course we will also be sharing wonderful food!

Provided: Table settings and drinks. Gorgeous shade trees and fantastic people will abound.

Bring: A chair, book and potluck dish. A smile would be nice, but not necessary. We will make sure you have one before you leave.

well, for those of you who are very literal, anytime between 6:00am and 10:00pm! If you need directions Iona or I can help you also. If you need a ride let me know and we can make arrangements.

 

(Solo’s is for single people of any age. As always this includes anyone who may be single for just the evening.)

Sunday Morning Worship is at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.

Childcare is available during the 10:00 a.m. service as well as Sunday School for children and youth.
