Worship & Education Schedule

We are open to all! This means, vaccinated and unvaccinated, children and adults, all will be welcome in the Church!

We have built a procedure for this opening to maintain safety on Sunday mornings and through out the week. Children will stay with adult leaders outside during nice weather, and in the dining hall for inclement weather, until the service begins. Then they will go up to the children’s wing for Sunday school.

We will still be requiring masks for all people.

Sunday Worship

9:30am: Fellowship on Zoom

10 am: Join us for worship as we sing and enjoy the music of our choirs and church musician, listen to scripture and be challenged to apply it to everyday life, pray and turn out hearts toward God. Communion is offered the 1st Sunday of the month.

11 am: Onsite Coffee Hour. Visit and get to know your Boise First families.

All services will continue to be cast on Zoom and Facebook Live.

Faith Explorations - Mondays at Noon, at the church.

Led by the Rev. Dr. Douglas Lobb, this group explores contemporary biblical scholarship, ethics, and new discoveries in archaeology and history as they pertain to progressive Christianity. They use books, DVDs, and articles to help learn about the newest research into the life and times of Jesus. You are welcome to join this group if you enjoy being challenged by diverse ideas about religion and faith. The group meets for approximately 90 minutes.

Contemplative Worship and Communion - Tuesdays at 5pm, outside at the church.

All are welcome to join us for a time of sharing, contemplative prayer, lectio divina (contemplative listening to scripture) and communion. This service is intimate and very supportive. Contact Nikki Leonard for questions, nikkiblue1@mac.com

Bible Study - Wednesdays, 6pm to 7pm on Zoom

Join Pastor Rob on Zoom for Bible Study, as we dive into the Gospel of Matthew, the historical context, the scriptural analysis, and a light touch of modern application. We will talk, ask questions, discuss, and grow together! The Zoom code is the same as Sunday's service. So tune in, learn something new, and keep plugging into the word and the community!

JAWAM Social Justice Book Study - Thursdays, 10am, at the church.

You’re welcome to join JAWAM for our Social Justice Book Study of Colorizing Restorative Justice by Edward C. Valandra.

We meet at the church on Thursday mornings at 10:00 am to discuss the book a few chapters at a time.

Let Shelley Axtell (axtellbois@icloud.com) or Liz Roberts know if you’d like a copy of the book for $29. We are willing to change the time of the discussion if anyone has a conflict at 10:00 on Thursdays.
